House sale completion 22nd April 2022
Estate partially distributed to Siblings.

2019 major events
Dad fell out of bed, I looked about 6am, he was on the floor wriggling so phoned 999
Went to Stoke Hospital
Would not eat much if anything
Visited him twice weekly - only I could get him to eat.
Phone call on Friday 16th that Dad might not make it through day, so had quick lunch then raced through stormy weather for over 2 hours to get to him.
Dad died on 16th August 2019 about 2:30pm

2018 Major Events
Change from AginCare to Radis on 12th February 2018
Hearing Aid - after many batteries no longer will use.
Hearing Aid test - no, nurse advised olive oil in ears each days for 6 weeks to unblock ear wax.
Radis have missed 5 care calls since starting - formal complaints now in place helped by new social worker. Meetings with Social worker & community nurses.
New Table
New Cushion - received
New rail on base of stairs
P3 stays with Dad in long visit(s) to the UK October - 6 weeks.
PL & PMJD have done major gardening to clear land further, inc. another cut of front hedges.
Bonfire major seasoned wood not required by siblings.
Installed Hive Hub control 2 lights just in case carers don't leave Dad any illumination between 3rd & 4th visit. Later Gas also installed thermostatic control for the CHtg on same Hub.
Problem with one carer in Radis leading Dad to not eat food on 3rd visit, as she was feeding him too much on 1st & 2nd visits; she then refused to move him from bed to sofa. Luckily this led to changing to another care agency Sapphire who will move Dad & feed him. Dec-18

2017 Major Events
Continued suffering from a bad cold for his 91st.
Informed by Council that AginCAre will be replaced by Radis early 2018, despite not wanting this change. PMJD tried many attempts to prevent but the force and difficulty of setting up direct payments lead us to accept the change.

2016 major events
P1 → Gardening visits increased to fortnightly, covering August when I'm away
F → stopped as carers now 4x per day
Charlie had to be sent to bardos.
Ebay Sales → miscellaneous items.
Continued efforts to clear house this year of unnecessary items inc:
Many personal documents no longer needed shredded including:
Old photos of A & family
More unknown peoples photo
Many more items taken back to P2's to list & sell on ebay inc. many Brass ornaments etc → back to Dad's as P2 move.
Sam stays with Dad in 2 long visits to the UK April & September.
AVM-MD stays August whilst P2 on retreat
More incontinence towards end of year.
Complaints from someone about hedges; PL & PRSD and late Oct-Nov also PMJD cut front hedges.
PMJD cutting branches growing into telephone wiring in main garden & start likewise two sycamores at side of front garage.
Dad caught a nasty cold from carer or likely F (who had nasty one recently).
Ambulance called out twice on 30th morning. Stayed in bed all day NY day.
